Fatmir Zymberi

Fatmir Zymberi is a successful businessman from Mitrovica, Kosovë. He began his career as a professional musician, and in 1985, Zymberi emigrated to Norway where he lived for 25 years. During this time, in 1989, he founded a company specializing in interior and exterior services. Zymberi managed this company until 2004. During this period, the company experienced continuous expansion and achieved excellent results. In 2005, the company was recognized as “The Best Interior and Exterior Company in Norway.” By 2010-2011, it had become the largest Norwegian company of its kind. The company is known for many prestigious projects in Norway, including: the Royal Palace, Oslo Airport, the Central Hospital in Oslo, the Central Theater in Oslo, hotels, thousands of residential buildings, and many other prestigious projects.
In 2000, he founded the Scandinavian paint company, Scan Color in Prishtinë, which supplies the Kosovë market with all kinds of interior and exterior paints as well as painting equipment.
In September 2003, Zymberi brought the first global franchise to Kosovë and signed an exclusivity agreement with JYSK A/S, the largest Danish retailer of sleep and Scandinavian living products, which operates internationally. JYSK A/S operates in more than 3300 stores in 48 countries worldwide. Since 2005, Zymberi has been actively involved in operations and currently owns 20 JYSK stores in Kosovë, Albania, North Macedonia, and a logistics center, with a plan to expand to 30 stores by the end of 2025.
In 2016, Zymberi brought the first global franchise in the field of gastronomy and also signed an exclusivity agreement with KFC, a global chain of fast-food restaurants that operates over 25,000 KFC restaurants in more than 145 countries worldwide. He currently owns 15 KFC restaurants in Kosovë, 6 in Macedonia, and is in the process of developing in other markets, with a plan to expand to 35 KFC restaurants by the end of 2025.
However, his most recent and boldest success as a developer, shareholder, and chairman of the board is Prishtina Mall, a grand shopping center which is the largest shopping and entertainment center in Southeastern Europe. With more than 200 premium local and international brands, Prishtina Mall is the region’s premier destination, offering a wide range of products and services to meet the needs and desires of every shopper.
